Dj sPm has been in music since a young age starting off with
a single drum and providing the beats for the school band. Not satisfied with
banging the drum to some parade tunes he traded his drums in for a set of
turntables and a mixer to began playing drumbeats that make people crazy.
Growing up in CT Dj sPm saw his share of giant NYC dj’s. Dj
Scribble, Jonathan Peters, Johnny Vicious to name a few were bringing sweet
tribal NYC house music to his ears.
A short time later Dj sPm bought some turntables and mixer
and began throwing house parties bringing the tribal electric sound to people
all over the country. A 6-year stint in the USAF brought Dj sPm to Florida,
Texas, New Mexico, and South Korea where of all places he established his first
weekend residency at A-bar. Soon after he moved to New Mexico and that is where
Dj sPm has taken off and made a name for himself.
Dj sPm held two residencies in Albuquerque NM. He was the
longtime Sat and Wed resident at One Up Elevated Lounge on 3rd and
Central. He single handily took this club from a place where people would pass
by to the most popular club in Albuquerque. One Up would be at capacity of 500
plus people by 10pm to hear Dj sPm enlighten the crowd with his 4 plus hour
sets of banging house, electro, and dance remixed tunes. Dj sPm also held a monthly at Ibiza rooftop
lounge at The Hotel Andaluz. You can still see a picture of him spinning on
their website.
Dj sPm has since moved to the Washington D.C./Baltimore area
and is taking his time off to produce his own tracks and remixes. Currently
looking for a night or two in the Beltway area Dj sPm is available for booking
information.
